Students

• Harvard College creating a Women's Center, which will be an outreach and support structure for undergraduate women. Search committee for the Center's Director formed, November 2005
• Harvard College Program for Research in Science and Engineering (PRISE) launched, December 2005
• Undergraduate Study Networks piloting in three courses beginning February 2006
• Collaborating with Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE) to develop a speaker series, expected to begin Spring 2006
• Reduced night-time parking rates to $50 per year to improve safety at night, September 2005

Work-life

• Will pilot expanded morning hour coverage by Parents in a Pinch for Harvard Employees, beginning January 1, 2006
• Finalizing strategic partnership with Nanny Agency; application fees for Harvard Employees will be waived and nanny placement fees discounted, expected January 2006
